Thank you! I love this! Indian parents are so embarrassed to talk about these things. The reason I got emotional over this is because my own mom never spoke to me about this. I had my first period at a gurdwara. And I stood there helplessly and my mami ji was the one who stepped in. And told me! And I had a white suit on too. So for me daughters I told them about everything very openly.
