@sahiladeemspeeches: A rapist isn't made overnight. It takes 20 years of a wrong upbringing, and it starts at home. We teach our daughters to be careful, to cover up, to stay quiet. But what do we teach our sons? We hand them the wrong definition of manhood. We laugh and proudly say, "My boy is a heartbreaker, girls are dying over him!" when he's only 8, 10 or 12 years old. That's where the damage begins. When a mother compliments her young son because girls are crazy over him, she is teaching him that a girl is a toy, that attention from girls is an achievement, and that the more girlfriends he has, the more honor he earns. Then that same boy grows up, and we are shocked by how he treats women. But whose fault is that? Some man's fault, and sometimes a mother's too, who clapped for him when he was a child. So ask yourself honestly: have you ever said this about your own son? 🤔 Real respect for women isn't taught in a classroom. It's taught at the dinner table, in the way we praise our boys, in the values we give them, and in how close we keep them to their faith and character. Raise sons who respect women, not sons who collect them.
