وسیع ظرف انسان وہ ہوتا ہے جو تنقید سن کر غصے میں نہیں آتا اور تعریف سن کر غرور میں مبتلا نہیں ہوتا۔ وہ جانتا ہے کہ زندگی میں ہر شخص کی رائے مختلف ہو سکتی ہے، ہر بات ہماری مرضی کے مطابق نہیں ہوتی اور ہر تعریف ہماری قابلیت کا مکمل پیمانہ نہیں ہوتی۔ تنقید انسان کو اپنی غلطیوں کو پہچاننے اور خود کو بہتر بنانے کا موقع دیتی ہے۔ عقلمند انسان تنقید کرنے والے کے الفاظ سے زیادہ ان کے پیچھے چھپی حقیقت کو سمجھنے کی کوشش کرتا ہے۔ اگر تنقید درست ہو تو اسے قبول کرنا چاہیے اور اگر بے بنیاد ہو تو صبر اور خاموشی سے نظر انداز کرنا چاہیے، کیونکہ ہر بات کا جواب دینا ضروری نہیں ہوتا۔ اسی طرح تعریف بھی انسان کے لیے ایک آزمائش ہے۔ جب لوگ ہماری تعریف کرتے ہیں تو ہمیں اپنی کامیابیوں پر شکر ادا کرنا چاہیے، نہ کہ خود کو دوسروں سے برتر سمجھنا چاہیے۔ غرور انسان کی شخصیت کو کمزور کرتا ہے، جبکہ عاجزی اسے لوگوں کے دلوں میں عزت عطا کرتی ہے۔ زندگی میں سب سے بڑی کامیابی یہ نہیں کہ ہر شخص ہماری تعریف کرے، بلکہ یہ ہے کہ ہم دوسروں کی تنقید کے باوجود اپنا حوصلہ برقرار رکھیں اور تعریف کے باوجود اپنے قدم زمین پر رکھیں۔ جس انسان کے اندر برداشت، عاجزی اور خود شناسی پیدا ہو جائے، وہ حالات کے بدلنے سے اپنی شخصیت کا توازن نہیں کھوتا۔ یاد رکھیے! ظرف کی وسعت یہ ہے کہ تنقید آپ کو توڑ نہ سکے اور تعریف آپ کو بدل نہ سکے۔ حقیقی عظمت اسی انسان کے حصے میں آتی ہے جو اپنی خامیوں کو تسلیم کرنے کا حوصلہ اور اپنی خوبیوں پر عاجز رہنے کا ہنر رکھتا ہے۔ A person's true beauty lies not in their appearance, clothing, or wealth, but in their character, wisdom, and capacity to understand others.
