Do you want a locked down phone? Samsung or Apple. If you want a phone that allows you to make real changes, go with a pixel 10 or below, oneplus, or if you have tmobile or at&t try a chinese phone such as xiaomi or huawei

I usually replace the screens, or use the insurance. this time I traded in my s23 ultra for z fold 8 ultra. never going back

whatever you end up doing i highly recommend a rockform case. I dropped my s22 ultra at a metal concert in the pit and it survived getting stepped on and kicked around and everything for a bands entire set. I will never use any other case.

Same thing happened to me. Has a 22 and broke the screen. I used the insurance and got the s24ultra for a 250 deductible. Love it.

I have the S26 ultra but wish I kept my S24 ultra. it had better cameras and preferred the squared off corners. reminds me of the old Note series

I looked at switching from my s22 ultra last year... tried the pixel for a bit but found myself getting the s26 ultra last month. unless you're looking at changing ecosystems, the galaxy is still top of the line for Android. I dinked around with some of their new foldables and if I didn't work around a lot of dust and projects probably would have gone with one of those.

I went 22 ultra to 26, if you wanna go samsung you will like it...s pen was better on the 22, but the privacy display might be a worthy trade off
