The guy that worked on my lincoln at the dealership left a shit ton of snap on tools in my car. My husband is a mechanic (its under warranty) and knew immediately someone had left about $3k worth of specialty tools in my car. He went back to the dealership and asked who worked on his car because they left tools behind. The dealership tried to give him the run around about leaving them, but he refused and would only hand it over to the guy who worked on the car. We got his name and tried to call but they always said he wasn't working. Waited about 4 days with no return call and went back to the dealership. Walked into the bay to find the guy. He had been there every single day, even the day we showed up originally. The dealership had never told him we found his tools or dropped by. He was super grateful because he was still paying those tools off. I hope he quit because he is surrounded by dishonest people. If you truly lost your jump box in a customer's vehicle, I hope they'd have the decency to bring it back to you.
