how is this not amazing? „to take something literally“ has two interesting meanings, indeed. literally taking things can mean: to grab something from its original place and carry it away with you. it can also mean: to understand something as of literal meaning. now the interesting past comes in: there are humans that are aware of the different meaning, and they use those different meanings. and there are others who are completely blind for that and think the one meaning they already know is everything there is.
