The report came on the heels of news that the couple is expecting a baby boy in January 2027. The reported marriage and pregnancy appear to have drawn renewed attention to Seungri's past controversies, including his involvement in the Burning Sun scandal, which led to his departure from the entertainment industry in Mar. 2019. More recently in August, Seungri was accused of threatening and assaulting a man with a soju bottle in Seoul. Seungri's team has denied the assault allegation.
