In N Out Inspired Loaded Fries One of my favorite ways to stretch a pound of ground beef into a family dinner, and a pretty convincing argument for keeping a bag of frozen fries on hand. A few tips! Get your fries EXTRA crispy before adding the toppings, they'll soften up from the toppings. American cheese works especially well here because it melts into a smooth, creamy sauce with just a splash of milk. And if you don't have burger sauce, you can make a quick version with mayo, ketchup, mustard, a little pickle juice, and some finely chopped pickles. Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef 1 onion, diced Burger seasoning of choice American cheese slices (measure with your heart) Splash of milk Frozen french fries (I used crinkle cut) Burger sauce, homemade or store-bought Shredded lettuce Diced tomatoes Chopped pickles or jalapeños Instructions: Prepare your frozen french fries according to the package directions until golden and crispy. Meanwhile, add your diced onion to a skillet with a little oil or butter and cook over medium heat until softened and caramelized. Add the ground beef and your favorite burger seasoning. Cook until browned and fully cooked, breaking the beef apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed. Reduce the heat and add several slices of American cheese, along with a splash of milk. Stir until the cheese melts into the beef and creates a creamy, saucy mixture. Pile the cheesy ground beef mixture over your crispy fries. Drizzle generously with burger sauce and finish with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and chopped pickles or jalapeños. Serve immediately while the fries are still crispy! #LoadedFries #CheeseburgerFries #EasyDinnerIdeas #FamilyFriendlyMeals #DinnerAtHome
