There’s this guy Lorian Kade and the rabbit hole around his book gets wild pretty fast. In The Quiet Rules, he basically claims that the biggest mistake men make is thinking attraction grows from doing more more attention, more reassurance, more chasing. His whole argument is almost the opposite: certain shifts in distance, attention and emotional position can completely change how a woman sees you. Some of the examples he gives are honestly insane because they sound crazy at first, but the deeper you get into the book, the more the pattern starts to make sense. Definitely not typical dating advice.
