@starwalkapp: 🌔 An orange eye. A red supergiant. And the Moon… completing the triangle. On the night of October 29–30, look for a spooky trio: the waning gibbous Moon, Aldebaran — the fiery eye of Taurus — and Betelgeuse, the orange-red star on Orion’s shoulder. Halloween is getting an early start. 👻 Together, they’ll form a large triangle in the sky. From some locations, the Moon will appear almost equally far from both stars. The shape depends on where you are and when you look. 🔭 No telescope needed — all three are bright enough to spot from a city under clear skies. Look from late evening on October 29 through the predawn hours of October 30, depending on your location. Open Star Walk 2 to find the trio in your sky. And if you whisper “Betelgeuse” three times… you’re on your own. 😉 #StarWalk #Moon #Stargazing #Halloween
