If you don’t wanna pay for tickets, you can watch it at Southpoint upstairs in the conference room rooms, no commercials and usually they give out bandannas every night, and after the rodeo, the buckle ceremony is in the bar at Southpoint also later that night every night of the rodeo

Use the monorail! It can take you right to the convention center for Cowboy Christmas. It connects to most hotels and I think it’s like $4 per ride and way quicker than walking or driving

Honestly yes, the tickets are worth it. There is nothing like the atmosphere of the Thomas and Mack! There are shuttle buses for many of the hotels, the lines will be long after the rodeo is over for the shuttle buses, so be prepared to wait. And give yourself more time than you think you will need for Cowboy Christmas!

If you go to Thomas and Mack take one of the free shuttle buses, entry tickets are lame, check stub hub a few hours before rodeo for good deals, don’t roll up to Gilley’s 30 mins before thinking it will be fun, it’s packed and lame

I had more fun at watch parties than I did going to the actual NFR. Unless you drop a bag on tickets you’re so far away from the arena that it’s just not worth it for me.

Don't go. You will have way more fun at the watch parties. The actual rodeo is just like going to a Saturday night jackpot. The friends you will make at a watch party is more worth it.

Wait until the day of to get tickets. Going one night is worth it for the experience but then go to the watch party at SouthPoint so you can immediately go to the buckle presentation afterward each night. THAT is an experience

I have 2 tickets for performance 9 and 10 available. There's several groups on FB with tickets. The rodeo is a must see, at least once. The watch parties are always fun as well.
