drink water and 100% cranberry juice only, don’t force pee out even if you feel you have to go and nothing is coming out don’t push, it’ll make it worse. you can get a kidney infection if it goes untreated and gets worse, only antibiotics can cure it

You should really tell someone and go to the doctor. UTI’s really need antibiotics to clear up properly. Even if you find something that helps you’ll likely just keep ending up with them over and over again until you treat it properly. In the meantime though- drink lots of water and cranberry juice. I like the Azo urinary pain relief which is an OTC med you can get to help with UTI pain and urgency (this should only be used for like 3 days though and it’s not a permanent fix/solution but will help until you can get in to your doctor).

I usually get them when im dehydrated! Vitamin water, electrolytes, cranberry juice, and tons of water always helps me get rid of it!

Use telehealth to get a prescription for antibiotics, I’m not sure if you have to be 18 but if you have a friend get them to do it. All you do is pay about 40 for the prescription but you have to use an id. In the meantime I would get some d mannose pills, I swear by them. Even just taking them daily is good. You could also get azo relief pills. Just a heads up they turn your pee bright orange. I wish you the best

if you're in that much pain its already to the point where you absolutely need to go to the doctor for antibiotics, they don't go away on their own you need to be treated asap

girl tell them and go to the doctor I tried to get rid of my UTI at home and it turned into a kidney infection. It was the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my entire life nothing compared to UTI pain

i got my first one around a year ago lol they’re a lot more common than u think i promise your mom has gotten a uti before maybe even multiple lol i promise you’re fine to tell her just take a quick trip to urgent care they ask what’s wrong u tell them u think u have a uti they will then ask for ur symptoms have u pee in a cup confirm it and they’ll give you something for it and it’lll feel better within a few days i promise just go cuz if that these comments are telling you doesn’t work it will get worse and lead to bigger problems please don’t be embarrassed❤️

you need to tell them to take you to the doctor, it’s dangerous untreated. Just say your in pain when you pee and that you need to visit soon it shouldn’t be weird …

Hiii I’ve had chronic utis since a kid I use the app or website called wisp bc I don’t have insurance and u can buy antibiotics on there and pick them up or get them delivered!

Well tbh I have one rn and I don’t tell ANYONE. I just buy some AZOS pain relief pills for the pain, and I ordered some antibiotics from my local pharmacy. You don’t have to tell ur parents anything. I also drink lots of water and stay away from sugar. And tbh my first time was HELL, but now on my second time I feel fine and I know what to do. If things worsen or don’t get better in 2 days, make an appointment to get checked up and they will prescribe u antibiotics depending on your symptoms. Lucky enough for me, I just took a survey for a non complicated UTI and they prescribed me antibiotics I got to pick up the next day. Do NOt drink cranberry juice or try any crazy methods u see online because I did all of that during my FIRST uti, and it lasted two and a half weeks, MOST painful UTI ever and I got taken to the ER.

i was in the same boat 5 years ago and my kidneys are still suffering the consequences and i’m sick everyday from it, tell ur parents i promise it’s sm more common than u think!! and letting it go untreated will lead to other major issues
