I got to take a sneak peek onto the new line courtesy of the Premier’s department to show all of you what the line will look like! The 10 converted stations have been completely revamped with new lifts, platform screen doors, and mechanical gap fillers, with these stations now getting a turn-up and go service of every 4 minutes! Which stations are doors still kept for safety issues? as precautionary measure in consultation with ONRSR, they have decided that 6 of 360 platform screen doors will remain temporarily closed in the unlikely event that one of those particular gap fillers fail to deploy.

I’ve just travelled from central to parramatta. Via Strathfield. No one could hear or follow the fast speech of the guard announcement. I’m all for multicultural representation. But this was ridiculous, was the same this morning. I’d rather AI austrliwn English than have to try to work out the speech of these announcements.
