If someone is screaming or laughing at the movie, at least they're engaged and I can feel like we're in this together. I hate it so much more when they are talking or doing shit on their phones that is distracting, and it has nothing to do with the movie! Like, if you're not gonna watch it, why did you pay money to be there? Go outside and play on your phone!

Went to a comedy (I think it was Deadpool3)and the this girl 2 seats down never laughed, she would just say “omg I’m done” no actual laughter, just that statement, again and again, damn near lost my mind

Once at a film. Right next to me sat a couple. Conversating loudly and proudly about whatever thier little hearts wanted to talk about through the first half of the film. Other people were shushing them but they did not take the hint. So I told them to please shut up. Felt them glare at me for the other half of the film.

There was a couple in front of me for Resident Evil and the girl did the most performative high pitched “EEEK!” At the top of her lungs for every single jumpscare or loud noise jumpscare 😒
