@somysolanki: I never believed that marriage was necessary to prove love. And I still don’t. ❤️ For years, society kept telling us to get married. Some even questioned whether our relationship was serious simply because we didn’t have a marriage certificate. But we built a life together. We became parents. We faced the good days, the difficult days, and everything in between. And we continued choosing each other without needing a legal document to hold us together. If it weren’t for the visa complications of spending longer periods in each other’s home countries, India and China, I probably would never have gotten married. That’s the reason we decided to do it. Not societal pressure. Not to prove our commitment. Simply to make it easier for our family to spend time in both countries without unnecessary visa complications. 🇮🇳🇨🇳 And even after getting married, my belief hasn’t changed. A marriage certificate doesn’t guarantee love, loyalty, or a lifetime together. It’s the two people in that relationship who decide whether they want to keep choosing each other.
