@esmeanthonyauthor: I’m new here, and honestly, I’m still learning how all of this works. 😅 But one thing I’ve noticed already: BookTok isn’t just about books. It’s about the people who love them. Every comment, every “oh my gosh, I need this book,” every reader yelling about a villain they shouldn’t love: that’s what makes this place feel like home. And for writers, especially indie authors like me, your comments mean more than you know. A single “this line got me” can keep someone writing on a hard day. Here’s a little secret (from my humble research and I could be wrong here) about how TikTok works: every like, comment, save and follow tells the app “show this to more people.” For small creators, that’s everything. It’s how a book nobody’s heard of finds the readers it was written for. So when you find an author or a reader you love, give them a follow and a like. It costs nothing and it truly changes things for them. So here’s what I’d love for this little corner of TikTok to be: a place where we hype each other up. Readers, tell me what you’re reading right now. Writers, drop your book or your WIP below, and let’s find each other. If you see a book in the comments that sounds like your kind of chaos, go follow that author and show them some love. I’ll be doing the same! Even simple chit chat is fine. Encourage and Empower! We got this! We all do better when we lift each other up. 🔥🌫️ So tell me: what are you reading, or writing, right now? 👇 #booktok #booktokcommunity #indieauthor #writersoftiktok #romantasy #readersoftiktok #supportindieauthors
