@mothershipsg: The Ministry of Education (MOE) will pilot a full-day model at MK@Rivervale and MK@West View in 2027, before progressively rolling it out to all MOE kindergartens from 2028 to 2030. The model will bring learning, play and care together in a single programme operated by MOE. Currently, MOE kindergartens offer a 4-hour programme, with separate Kindergarten Care (KCare) services provided by external operators. MOE said the change aims to better support children’s development and families’ evolving needs, with greater continuity in learning and more sustained interactions with kindergarten staff. For the 2027 pilot, monthly full-day fees for Singapore citizens will be S$665 before subsidies, or S$3 to S$425 after applicable subsidies, depending on eligibility. Permanent residents will pay S$735. Parents can also opt for a half-day programme. Monthly fees for Singapore citizens will be S$310 before subsidies, or S$1 to S$160 after applicable subsidies. Permanent residents will pay S$320. #mothershipnews
