From the beginning, God’s design was ONE man and ONE woman becoming ONE flesh (Genesis 2:24). Jesus reaffirmed that design in Matthew 19:4–6. And 1 Timothy 3:2 tells us that a bishop must be the husband of one wife. If the Apostle Paul were here today, I am convinced he would be writing a letter to this church! Because church leadership is not exempt from biblical accountability. We cannot normalize something simply because someone puts a title of pastor, prophet, or prophetess in front of their name. The standard is Scripture, not someone’s spiritual title. Church, we need discernment. Not everything presented as biblical is actually biblical.
