Unfortunately chronic illness takes over your life whether you want to or not. It truly doesn’t matter how much you want to do things sometimes you just have to rest. And it feels like laziness but it’s not. I’m still learning to adapt

And that's when we get to create a new life that works for us. No one else needs to understand it. We still get to make goals and achieve them, albeit most of the time they might be tailored around our condition. But we're still human, they're still our goals, and they're worth celebrating. We're blessed with new perspectives, change, adaptation, and a soul of steel. Blessed is the right word. Because the moment we call it anything else...we're lost to the darkness and it only makes us more sick. Keep fighting. We got this.
