@fsu1997: YOU COULD HEAR IT THREE STREETS AWAY… AND EVERY KID KNEW WHAT TO DO. 🍦 That music started playing, and suddenly the whole neighborhood came alive. Kids ran inside yelling for a dollar. Somebody went digging through the couch cushions. Parents hollered, “Don't get anything until you ask!” And if you were lucky, you caught the truck before it turned the corner. Maybe it was a push-up. Maybe a rocket pop. Maybe that ice cream sandwich that tasted better outside on a hot Florida afternoon than anything you could buy today. You didn't need a phone to tell you where the truck was. You just listened. Funny how a little tune, a warm afternoon, and a frozen treat can stay with you for decades. Life seemed simpler then. Or maybe we were just young enough to enjoy the simple things. Tell me the truth: What was your go-to ice cream truck treat growing up? And did you have to run home and ask for money, or were you one of the lucky kids with change in your pocket? #FloridaNostalgia #OldFlorida #ChildhoodMemories
