@leokatiecbt: Missed days, falling grades, long bathroom breaks, or getting stuck rewriting the same sentence can look like a lack of effort or a behavior problem. Underneath, it can be OCD making ordinary school moments feel impossible. The tricky part is that the person often can't explain what's happening, and might feel embarrassed to try. From the outside, it just looks like struggling. If this sounds familiar, it's worth bringing up with a therapist who understands OCD.
