to be fair I have noticed more restaunts in the UK are adding a gratuity fee to the bill. I do not tip anymore if there is a gratuity added am not paying twice.

yeh don't understand culture of tipping here in Australia it's not a thing, we pay our workers approx $33 per hr mon to Friday sat $45 and sun $56ph + 12% superannuation in restrants

the America tip colture has to abolish. Charge decent prices for your food. pay you staff. and if service is good give a tip. everyone wins in the end. but there was an 18% gratitudey included in would take that off the bill then give server cash

i live in sicily. Here we each person pays a 2 euro cover charge. More than enough of a tip.
