@ypearson_dying_to_talk: MOUTH / TONGUE CANCER — DO YOU KNOW THE WARNING SIGNS? My daughter Cath died from tongue cancer aged just 25. I now share awareness information in the hope that others may recognise symptoms sooner. Please look out for: A mouth or tongue ulcer lasting 3 weeks Red or white patches inside the mouth An unexplained lump in the mouth or neck Persistent mouth or tongue pain Difficulty chewing, swallowing or speaking Unexplained bleeding or numbness Loose teeth or dentures suddenly fitting differently ⚠️ Most of these symptoms can have causes other than cancer, but persistent changes must be investigated. An ulcer that hasn't healed within 3 weeks needs checking by a GP or Dentist. Seek advice sooner if you're concerned or symptoms worsen.
