@genzbusinessanalyst: MARIJANE CHOSE LIFE, AND HER BABY BOY IS ON THE WAY! In June, Marijane was sitting in her car outside Planned Parenthood in Sacramento, CA, when she heard our voices over the amplified sound. As we described the reality of how an abortion happens, the message began breaking her heart. But the weight of the moment was heavy, and she got out of her car and started walking toward the clinic doors. We didn't stop calling out to her. She stopped in her tracks, turned around, and walked over to talk with us on the sidewalk. Marijane was in tears, torn and undecided. But as we spoke truth and love into the situation, she made the courageous decision to cancel her appointment and keep her baby! ( Right after, we took her to get an ultrasound. She saw her baby on the screen and completely fell in love. & Over a celebration meal, she told us she felt overwhelming relief that her baby was alive, and that she saw God moving in every moment of the day. Aa That's me on the far left with my wife, Marijane in the red holding her ultrasound, and Anthony on the right, one of the newest evangelists to join our outreach team. That choice was only the beginning. Marijane had no transportation, was under serious financial strain, was already raising a 10-month-old daughter, and was in a tough living situation. My family and I started picking her and her daughter up for church, and she has come with us multiple times since! Our team helped with rides and many loads of laundry, and a friend of the ministry offered to open his home to her daughter. In August, she found out she's having a healthy baby boy! • Today, Marijane is in her third trimester. Choosing life is often the first step on a long road, and walking that road takes people who keep showing up.
