@classicthings5: 7 Days of Pure Wildlife Engineering: The Wall-Crevice Builder! 😲 Witness nature's ultimate architect at work! 🌿 Watch this White Wagtail build an untidy cup of twigs, grass and leaves inside a stone-wall crevice beside a stream, over a grueling 7-day period. Day 1: She lays the very first twigs just inside the dark crevice opening. ~Day 3: A rough foundation pad of stems and leaves grows inside the hollow. ~Day 5: The cup deepens inside the crevice and its rim is dressed neat. Day 7: Inside the hollow — a lining of rootlets, hair, wool and soft feathers, pressed into shape by her own body, until she settles in. 👇 Every single strand was engineered using just her beak. This is 100% pure wildlife engineering. No humans, just the relentless force of nature. Wait for the final settle-in at the end! 👇 #NatureEngineering #WildlifeDocumentary #BirdNest #TimeLapse #WhiteWagtail classic things one
