A lot of bosses/managers will think you pick and choose the jobs you do due to laziness or “not paid enough” but this just shows the severe importance of being paid and trained to do your own specific role, not someone elses. H&S and communication is key. Dont lose your life for simple neglect or uncertainty. Think of the ones you leave behind. If I worked on height access equipment without an IPaf card/cert and fall to my death, is it my fault for not speaking up or is it the supervisors/managers responsibility for not checking? A lot of grey areas for a 50/50 outcome
