There would be protests - Trump would invoke the Insurrection Act and he will have soldiers on the ground in blue states. People will be beaten (possibly killed) and arrested and detained without any rights.

This is definitely something that I can see Trump trying, and it will slow everything down. I do not believe that he can win in a court of law, but it could take months to get the right people where they’re supposed to be and I really don’t know what you guys are going to do. In the meantime because you’re effective, we will have no legal representation or even really government.

it dont work that way Johnson term ends on Jan and all the others not elected in congress so the new congress members take over and elect a new speaker and he swear the rest in. congress members have terms
