@itstherespawn: The fan-led #SaveMassEffect movement, organised by We Are Mass Effect alongside creator Kala Elizabeth, paid for a digital billboard in New York that appeared for 15 seconds every hour on October 26. The billboard featured the N7 colours and the message “Keelah Si’yah” alongside #SaveMassEffect, referencing the Quarian phrase from the games. The campaign is calling on EA to keep Mass Effect alive, either by continuing development internally or allowing another studio to work on the franchise. Its petition had already passed 200,000 signatures when the Times Square stunt went live, with reports saying it continued climbing beyond 250,000 shortly afterwards. It comes after BioWare announced on October 21 that the studio was closing and early development on the next Mass Effect project was ending, prompting fans to rally around the future of the series. #masseffect #gaming #bioware #timesquare

Realistically I had hope for a new mass effect. I still do believe it can come back and be good. But for them to put all that effort into a new game to throw it away. I hope it can be saved, I wish I had the money because I’d put every single penny love and effort into that game for the fans.
