@ayooonesh: The tension that you get from ponytails and buns aren’t only on the mid shafts, which is especially true if you have fine hair like my client. Prolonged wear can lead to thinning edges from over direction and tightness, traction alopecia, split ends, a weakened shaft and increased shedding.
