@itsaiguide: Your bills are probably going up because you're NOT paying attention. Comcast. Verizon. AT&T. Car insurance. Subscriptions you forgot existed. A $15 monthly increase doesn't look dangerous until you realize that's $180 a year for absolutely nothing extra. Here's what I'd do. Connect Claude to your financial records with appropriate permissions, or upload redacted statements. Make it audit every recurring charge, spot price increases, and compare what you're paying against current U.S. offers. Then have it prepare negotiation scripts, compare insurance quotes, and flag subscriptions you haven't used in 60 days. The KEY: Don't just cut bills once. Make Claude track them EVERY month. You approve every cancellation or change. Save these 7 prompts before your next billing cycle. Follow @itsaiguide for more.
I just did #2 for our cable TV and internet. It had me do the navigating and posting. You still go down the rabbit hole with your internet provider and at the end of that 30 minute adventure it says: "Regrettably, you are already getting the best price for the services. I have no better offers for this account"

As someone with an MS in Marketing, I can tell you Elon is lying. They want you to connect your accounts so they can have easy access to information to sell products such as what you buy, when, where, how much you pay. That way they can effectively sell better and more to you.
