This is mainly due to lackluster QB play. Unfortunately, we’d still be rebuilding. Don’t understand why they would give DJ such a lucrative contract coming off a major injury. Also, the games they won last year were mostly against mediocre teams with a couple exceptions. If they found a way to land another start QB, we’d be singing a different song after 7 weeks, nothing great, but certainly different.

Yes and no the colts would have been able to get corner help in last years draft but we still don’t have a QB. The issue was 2023 draft. We needed a corner besides a QB and should have taken Witherspoon or Gonzales instead of an inexperienced young QB. That year we could have signed mayfield or darnold. If it didn’t workout we would have had a chance at 4qbs in 2024 but a stud CB on a rookie contract.
