fatty liver comes from being overweight, I had this and was overweight not all kids are overweight. Also we can only control what they have at home not at other ppl homes or parties so 🤷 we can only do our best..

Went to a party for a 5 year old earlier this year and nothing but soda was even offered 😅 luckily I brought my son’s water bottle because we don’t drink soda in our house haha

My daughter is 16 and asked if we could get a case of mini cans. I said no because if we have soda at home, you’ll drink it more. If you drink it while out, fine, but not a consistent beverage at home. And she’s 16.

My 16 month old has never had a sip of soda or candy. She barely drinks juice and if she does I measure out 3oz and that’s it. But she barely drinks juice to begin with. She LOVES her water and milk. She’s super good at communicating she needs water. I see to many kids her age drinking soda or tons of juice.

When my kids were younger they told people they were allergic to soda lol I let them think it. They never drank it and once someone gave them soda and it “burned” their throat so they said absolutely not. Lol.
