@intels5: Terry Ward, 64, faces felony abduction and misdemeanor family-assault charges after allegedly restraining his wife with tape at their Richmond, Virginia, home. According to a criminal complaint, she was tied to a chair in the basement for approximately 30 to 45 minutes. A responding officer reported seeing tape marks around both her arms and said Ward admitted tying her to the chair. Reports linking the incident to his desire to watch football remain unconfirmed; Richmond police said that claim did not come from their department. Source: Patch.
