Updated guidance came into effect in September 2026, helping pupils recognise harmful behaviour, understand boundaries, and question damaging messages they encounter online. The lessons apply to pupils generally, alongside targeted programmes helping boys challenge harmful attitudes and build healthier relationships. Because raising children involves more than teaching them how to pass exams. It also means teaching them that “no” deserves respect, boundaries matter, and nobody is entitled to another person’s body or attention. These conversations should begin at home and continue in school.
