Every morning, I wanted to lose it. Every night, I wanted comfort, a break and something that made the day feel a little easier. Tomorrow could be the day I got serious. Four kids. Homeschooling. A husband working out of state. I had a good reason to put myself off every single day. And I could have kept finding one. I started paying attention to the conversation I kept having with myself. “I deserve this.” “I’ve already ruined today.” “I’ll start Monday.” Those thoughts kept leading me back to the same decisions. I had to stop treating every thought like a direction I needed to follow. I could want comfort without automatically reaching for food. I could eat more than planned without giving up on the rest of the day. I practiced making decisions before I was exhausted. Pausing long enough to recognize what I wanted. And continuing after an unplanned meal instead of planning another fresh start. I lost 60 pounds naturally in the last 7 months while solo parenting and homeschooling four kids. Life still required a lot from me. I learned how to make different decisions in the middle of it. Now I help women who can take care of everyone else but keep putting themselves off. Women who are tired of wanting the result every morning and talking themselves out of the work every night. Here, I share the thoughts I stopped agreeing with. The behaviors I practiced instead. And how to keep going when the day looks nothing like you planned. You don’t have to wait for an easier season to start doing things differently. I’m Tiffany. Follow for the everyday changes behind losing the weight and finally following through.
