My children are young right now so I don’t go by the amount of money on their gifts because some of their gifts were clearance or Thrifted so I just keep the amount of number of each child. But when they get older and they understand, things cost money and then I will go by the amount of money I spent on each gift, but for the goal right now is a spend as least as possible lol

This year we’re doing $500 per kid or 10 gifts whichever comes first. I don’t count stockings even though I definitely should because we do sacks. 😂🤦🏻♀️I have 5 kids 8,12,25,15,18.

I never set a budget. I try to shop intentionally and not just for “stuff” last year was over 20k (we did Christmas gifts + sailed in a 2 bedroom concierge room on Disney). We’re traveling this year but to a vacation home we already own. So far I’m under $300 each for my 3 kids. I’ll prob spend another $500-1000 total so estimating under $2,000 for stockings and Christmas gifts. Some Christmas have been 15k, 5k and on the smaller end depending on if we gift a trip.

last christmas baby was only a couple weeks old..now she’s one. we don’t have a budget, but we also don’t know what to get a 1 year old 😂😂

1000-2000 per kid. I know that’s a wide range but a really depends what they are asking for that year. Some years has been a bit more and some a bit less. But we don’t just buy to buy, I buy what they ask for. If there is something I know they will love I get that too, but I buy what they ask for and everyone is happy. Numbers aren’t always equal and neither is budget.

idk I just have 1 and he's 16 he's getting a new bed/mattress/bedding with a full hygiene restock and winter clothes/shoes a Lego set and a stocking full of his favorite treats 🧑🎄

I do $1,000 I have 5 kids 15, 14, 12, 10, and 8. This doesn’t include their stockings I try to do $30-$50 on each stocking.

My older kids $800-$1000 little one $300. Stockings $30-$50- I have a 19 in college, 15 (turning 16 2 days b4 Xmas) and a 5 year old. My older kids get what they need so not every year is this amount- my daughter needs a new laptop her is fried so got her an Apple laptop and she’s an IB student and number 1 in her class- my oldest needs stuff for college so just wrap it for under the tree- my little one his stuff is cheap- our stockings are the things the kids look forward to the most
