I gave it 3.75 stars it’s not worth all those damn pages. I think the audiobook is better but I read the hard copy and it took me a month because it’s very boring and drags ALOT. Then the ending rushes with no epilogue

I think even the author got bored! the book didn’t resolve until the last four pages and by that point the end was so predictable and swift that it was a big MEH

I agree with you. It gets worse. It needed editing so badly--the first half is a slow drag and the second half is a madcap farcical dash to the finish. A finish which didn't even tie up the loose ends. Just so overhyped.

Maybe you need to not listen to it at 1.0 speed. But legit- I listed to this book in its entirety in one day. I was GRIPPED.

Maybe pick up the speed and stick with it you’ll love it. This isn’t my normal type of book but I can’t stop thinking about it and that was like 20 bucks ago.
