In this video, I explain how to fill in the form step by step. ✅ 📝 Step-by-step guide to filling out the TIN registration form: 1️⃣ Registration Type Select Individual Local if this category applies to you. 2️⃣ NIC Number & Personal Details Enter your NIC number and provide your full name, name with initials, date of birth, country of birth and gender as requested. 3️⃣ Preferred Language & Communication Select your preferred language and choose your preferred communication method from the available options. 4️⃣ Residency & Citizenship Complete the Resident Status, Citizenship and Dual Citizenship sections according to your actual circumstances. 5️⃣ Source of Income & Profession Select the applicable income source, such as Employment, Business, Investment or Others, and provide your profession details. 6️⃣ Permanent Address Enter your address details and select the correct Province, District, Divisional Secretariat and Grama Niladhari Division. 7️⃣ Residential Address Complete the residential address section and any other required fields. 8️⃣ Check Before Submitting ✅ Complete all mandatory fields marked with an asterisk (*). ✅ Double-check your NIC number, name, date of birth and address. ✅ Keep any required supporting documents ready. ✅ Follow the official website's instructions to submit your application. ⚠️ Important: Choose the options that match your personal circumstances. If your address differs from the address on your NIC, the IRD may require proof of address.
