@tom.jones_.fanpag: To all my wonderful fans, thank you for your love, prayers and patience during this difficult time. I’m happy to let you know that I’m gradually getting better after battling a severe case of the flu. Please don’t be upset with me for being quiet or for postponing my shows, my doctor instructed me to take some resr because, my health has to come first so I can return to the stage stronger and give you the performances you deserve. I’m truly sorry for any disappointment or inconvenience caused and I appreciate your understanding more than words can express. Your support means the world to me and I can’t wait to be back doing what I love most... sharing the music with all of you. Please keep me in your thoughts as I continue to recover. Sending love, gratitude and a big hug to every one of you. #TomJones #SirTomJones #TomJonesFans #TomJonesMusic #LegendaryVoice #MusicLegend #GetWellSoon #ThankYouFans #LoveAndGratitude #MusicIsLife ❤️🎤

He actually did incredibly well with the heavy schedule of his 2026 tour. Getting the flu near the end isn't a disaster at all, on the contrary; he was extremely resilient and able to sing in 13 countries and across 47 scheduled shows globally, according to my own count.
