mat withdrawal is brutal, I went to detox over 10 years ago and the first found of detox wasn't bad. I went to a facility in Florida I took the plane from NJ to FL. and 2 days after I got there I felt like my bones were glass and it was the worst they told me it was the mat withdrawal 😓. alot of it is mental so stay positive, this too shall pass. 💋✨

Something I learned too is if you have been on opioids for a while (yes even when prescribed) and stop even years later you can be put back into withdrawal by “too much” alcohol (said it like that bc it’s different per person and can be as small as like 2 beers)- it’s referred to as alcohol induced opioid withdrawal. This is not my personal experience but someone I’m close to. Props for doing your best love and I hope you start to feel better

I lost my son on September 20 relapsed illicit fentanyl overdose. He even had Suboxone in his room. his creatinine remains were ready to be picked up. on 10/2/26 I’m sending you positive thoughts and vibrations. another taboo subject is sometimes for some people, is a life-saving medication. It’s OK to stay on maintenance.

Oh girl, I feel for you 😭😭 I’ve been on subutex since 2017 and I want off of it so bad. But my God, the withdrawals are horrendous, they last for at least 30 days, and they were way worse than any opiate withdrawal I had ever been through. I’m scared of death to stop because of how painful it is. I’m praying for you girl for your comfort and your strength right now and that you can find peace. I’m sorry you’re dealing with this.
