@dustinfox_foxhomesteam: Pentagon Centre: The Pentagon City Costco Land Is Already Approved For Up To 1,888 Homes The Pentagon City Costco sits on land that is already approved for a new neighborhood. If you shop there, this is the version worth knowing. The site is called Pentagon Centre, 16.8 acres right on top of the Pentagon City Metro. Arlington approved the long-range plan in July 2024. The plan allows up to 1,888 homes. 693 already exist at The Witmer and The Milton, so the additional homes come to up to 1,195. Add office space, a hotel, street-level shops and about 4.3 acres of public open space. The payoff for shoppers: Costco remains open now. The plan is built in phases. The western shopping strip is phase 1, with a planned half-acre interim park. The Costco area comes in a later phase. Every future building still needs its own approval, and no start date for the next phase has been announced. FunnyGuy22201 :
I only want Costco. If Arlington allows that to leave, then we either have to go to Fairfax or DC to shop.
