It says we aren’t fighting against “flesh and blood,” but against spiritual forces “in heavenly places.” Now, when most people hear the phrase “in heavenly places,” they get confused. Here is the secret that changes everything when you read that verse: In the original language the Bible was written in, the word used for "heavenly places" (epouraniois) simply means the unseen dimension—the spiritual realm that exists all around us. Think of it like Wi-Fi signals. You can’t see Wi-Fi floating through the air in your room right now, but it’s there. It’s carrying data, messages, and signals every single second. In the exact same way, there is an unseen spiritual atmosphere surrounding our daily lives. God’s peace, love, and light are moving through it—but there are also negative "signals" floating around: fear, bitterness, jealousy, temptation, and division.
