@htowndailynews: A teenager involved in a fatal shooting aboard a west Houston METRO bus has been sentenced to 40 years in prison, state corrections officials confirmed. Brayden Smith, a former Elsik High School student, entered a guilty plea on Oct. 14 in connection with the death of 25-year-old Caitlin Stup. Police reported that the shooting occurred on Jan. 7 along the 10800 block of Richmond Avenue following a dispute between Smith and another young man, 18-year-old Patrick Scott. Smith opened fire during the argument, killing Caitlin Stup—who was struck as an innocent bystander—and injuring another teenager. #htx #htown #houston #houstontx #houstontexas
