this is a form of imposter syndrome bc there’s not really any reason you can’t be *that* person. You were just conditioned to think you deserved less for whatever reason, and I think you had people who saw more in you. It might sound stupid but just you making silly little tiktoks takes a ton of courage bc you gotta rlly be able to put yourself out there. Not everyone has that. I had both. And the worse of them who said the worse to me were Black men and yt women. My Black women teachers saved me and also a couple white women teachers. However Black male teachers always said the foulest ish to me while giving Black boys grace.

So by the time I went to high school, the real Coach Boone taught drivers ed and ate apples while he ate so no one sat in the front row bc no one wanted his apple chunks spit at them. BUT aside from the apple thing, he definitely kept his same energy abt making sure every kid felt cared about that he had in the movie that took place decades ago (remember the titans).
