For savers and investors like me, there were positive changes in there such as the Cash ISA reversal (the allowance remains at £20,000) and a new ISA to incentivise first-time investors. But tax cliff edges remain, tax bands remain frozen, and student loans are largely unaddressed. This was a budget full of lots of little promises with no big statements.
