You have to allow the couple to resolve their marital issues. If you are a Christian, LORD said in Matthew 19:6 what he join together let no man put asunder. Advising the man not to agree is encouraging division in their not marriage which is asunder. Honor God, and promote peace with your content.

Blessed are the peace maker for they shall be called the children of God- Matthew 5:9. According to John 10:10, Devil came to steal, kill and destroy but JESUS CHRIST came that we may have an abundant life. When you promote division that will result to conflict in marriage and relationship, examine which spirit is controlling you. Choose peace over division.
