Scanned hundreds of vibe coded apps this month and the same mistakes keep showing up over and over. Most of them are invisible unless you know exactly where to look, which is exactly why they never get caught before launch. The scariest one is the supabase service role key. It's supposed to stay on your server only, but a lot of AI-generated code accidentally puts it right in the client bundle, meaning anyone who opens dev tools can grab it and get full read/write access to your entire database. Not the anon key, the actual master key. Then there's row level security. Supabase turns it off by default on new tables, and if nobody flips it on, every row in every table is publicly readable and writable by anyone with your project URL. No login required. On the legal side, if you're collecting emails, running analytics, or dropping any kind of tracking cookie without a privacy policy, that's not just bad practice, it's an actual GDPR violation the moment an EU visitor lands on your site. Same story with selling anything and having no refund policy written anywhere, you're leaving yourself open to chargebacks with zero ground to stand on. None of these show up when you're testing the happy path. Your app works perfectly, looks great, and you'd never know anything is wrong just from clicking around.
