@emylbrox: 🌿 The Basin, the Bread, and the Betrayal Inspired by John 13:3–30 (KJV) The King of glory rose from supper’s place, Clothed not in pride, but wrapped in humble grace. He knew His throne, His origin, His end, Yet stooped to wash the feet of every friend. The hands that shaped the heavens, stars, and seas, Now touched the dust with tender dignity. The Lord of all, whose power knows no end, Became a servant, washing feet again. “Unless I wash thee, thou hast no part with me,” He spoke of cleansing, love, and purity. For greatness wears no crown of selfish pride; True love kneels low, with nothing left to hide. Yet at the table, darkness sat concealed, A wounded secret that would soon be revealed. The bread was shared, the fellowship was sweet, While betrayal waited at the Saviour’s feet. And when he took it, darkness claimed its part; Satan entered the betrayer’s heart. “ That thou doest, do quickly,” Jesus spoke, As heaven watched while earthly friendship broke. He rose and vanished into night’s embrace, Away from truth, away from saving grace. The door swung wide; the shadows swallowed him, While lamps still glowed and hope seemed dim. O what a lesson in that upper room! Where love still shines while hearts conceal their gloom. The hands that serve reveal the heart within; The closest seat cannot conceal our sin. The King still kneels in love before our feet, His mercy makes the broken spirit complete. Let pride surrender, let our hearts be true, And let His cleansing make us wholly new. For even when betrayal walks the night, The love of Christ remains the world's true light. And though a faithless heart may turn away, His truth endures beyond the darkest day. Prayer: Lord Jesus, give me a humble heart that serves without pride, loves without hypocrisy, and follows You with sincere devotion. Cleanse my heart from hidden darkness, and let my life reflect Your mercy and truth. May I never exchange Your eternal light for the fleeting shadows of this world. Amen. 🙏✨ #TakeAPhotoToSeeWhatSoundYouGet #growmytiktokaccount #creatorsearchinsights #unfrezzmyaccount #unshadowbanme
