10 years in and we’ve finally figured some things out… 🤣 One of the biggest triggers for disagreements early in our marriage was that I'd be upset and my husband wouldn't know how to help me. And if I'm honest, I didn't know how I needed to be helped either 🙃 Soooo, here are 4 things to do when your wife is upset and neither of you knows how to help her: 1. Hug her first. Before you try to fix anything, just hold her. It regulates her nervous system and reminds her you're on her side. 2. Get her out of the environment she's stuck in. A walk, a drive, a coffee run. Changing the space changes the spiral. 3. Never make a big decision when she's tired. Let her nap first. She'll have 10 times more clarity after. 4. Validate what she's feeling even when you don't agree with where she's landing. She doesn't need you to agree the world is ending. She just needs to hear
