@us.new.trending4: Sophia Bush Opens Up About The Criticism She And Wife Ashlyn Harris Have Faced: “It’s Not Easy” Sophia Bush is speaking out about the public reaction to her relationship with wife Ashlyn Harris. The actress, 44, released her memoir And I Will Tell You Mine: Notes from a Life in Progress on Tuesday, Oct. 27. She told PEOPLE the attention has been hard. “It’s not easy,” she said. She added that she tries to remember that “what is true” matters more than “whatever feels exciting to people who don’t know anything.” Bush and Harris, 41, began dating in October 2023 and married in summer 2025. Both had filed for divorce before they got together. Bush was married to Grant Hughes from June 2022 to August 2023. Harris was married to Ali Krieger from December 2019 to September 2023. Last week on Call Her Daddy, Bush told host Alex Cooper there was no overlap between her relationship with Harris and their past marriages. “Two people who had filed for divorce and lived in separate residences from their exes went to dinner,” she said. She also admitted she has regrets. She said she wishes she had waited six weeks to take Harris on their first date. “But I can’t change it,” she said. In a 2024 Glamour essay, Bush wrote that the idea she left her marriage over a “hysterical rendezvous” never happened. She called the reaction “brutal.” Bush called Harris “the best person I know.” She said her wife has “more integrity than I thought was possible.” “To have that kind of peace is something I didn’t know if I would ever get in my life,” Bush said.
